We had a delightful stay at Keeper's Lodge! The house felt cozy and beautifully decorated, giving off a warm atmosphere. The owners, Steve and Claudio, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The king-size bed in our Deluxe King Room was super comfortable, perfect for a restful night. The breakfast was a highlight, cooked fresh and using high-quality ingredients. I still remember how delicious the cooked food was! we faced an inconvenience with the check-in time. Arriving after our wedding reception, it was tricky to deal with a specific 4 PM check-in window. It would have been helpful to have clearer info in the room about breakfast timing since we arrived late. We really appreciated having a mini living area in the room, adding a nice touch to our stay. While we loved our overall experience, some minor adjustments in guest communication would elevate this lovely place even more.

The room was spacious and cozy, and breakfast was absolutely spot on with local produce. Relaxing in the lovely garden and enjoying a couple of drinks in the lounge made our stay even better. The only minor hiccup was the parking across the road, but it didn't take away from our experience. 😊

Recommend it for a relaxing escape
The breakfast was DELICIOUS! Freshly cooked and full of quality ingredients, it was the perfect start to a long day. The hosts were accommodating. They even provided Lactose Free milk for my dietary needs, which is hard to come by. Feels personal, you know?
Sure, it wasn't exactly pocket change, but the experience was worth it.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The house was beautiful, and we loved that it was so close to the Curve Theatre for a show. Our trip also included visiting The Stables for a wedding reception, making everything convenient. Breakfast was top-notch, and the comfy rooms made our evenings perfect. Would definitely come back again!
The only downside was the check-in time. we couldn't get in before 4pm, which was tricky on our arrival day.

had an amazin stay at keepers lodge! steve and claudio were such warm hosts, felt like home. the deluxe king room was super comfy and had all the lil extras. breakfast was delish, lovin that full english! location was fab, really peaceful and great for exploring the area.
the only thing was the steep stairs up to the room, was a bit tough for my partner and parkings in a layby opposite the house, not super private.

Unique design elements, scenic village enclave, effective wake-up call service
Misleading stair access details could use improvement!!! The parking situation in a layby is less convenient than expected!!! Worn towels need replacing for a more satisfying experience.

great stay but bed needs improvement
The suite was spacious and well-decorated giving a cozy feel. Breakfast options were excellent with quality produce cooked perfectly to our preferences.
The king-size bed felt a bit soft, which was not to our liking.
